Tesco Finest Taleggio DOP - safe cheese

Tesco currently have an offer of 3 for 2 on selected Finest cheese. And to my surprise there are a few I can eat. Though these only tend to be available in the larger stores. I got 3!

First up...

This tastes lovely, kinda reminds me of alcohol but only just.

I had it with various types of crackers which I'll be posting as well.

I'm just so happy there is a good range of different cheeses that I can eat! And the fact I can eat real cheese too, wooo!

Asda Bakery - 2 Pineapple Tarts

These are tasty and often sell out pretty quickly :-( I've stuck my finger there for size reference! The pastry is quite soft and the top is hard. Then you get to the filling and it's just amazing! Recommend these.

Asda Smart Price Curry Noodle Snack

I'm quite lazy sometimes so these can be quite handy to have in the cupboard.

It isn't too spicy and it's okay. Not the best quality food but okay if you are in a hurry or too lazy! These 'Pot Noodle' kind of snacks often have lactose in them, so it's rare to find ones without!

Cheap and cheerful!

Ainsley Harriott - Lemon, Mint and Parsley Cous Cous

I'm  fan of cous cous and this is quite tasty. It has the kick of the lemon and the hint of mint too. I can't remember where I bought this from probably available in the major supermarkets anyway!

Sainsbury's High Juice Pink Grapefruit

Continuing the hunt for those artificial sweetener free diluting juices, I found this delight a while back. Oh my gosh I love it!

Now I really like the juice and it's very tasty. I tend to have my diluting juices very weak and even as weak as I have mine, you still get that little grapefruit kick!

Highly recommend this one :-)

Tesco Finest Applewood Smoked Wafer Thin Ham

This is a very tasty ham and very moreish. I often have it on my sandwiches for lunch at work.

It's not fatty and I feel comfortable eating it. There are lots of fatty meats that I don't like and usually feel uncomfortable eating them as they often upset my delicate tum tum. My cat even loves it and he knows a thing or two!

Morrisons Mature Lighter Cheese Slices - safe cheese

Another safe cheese find and thanks to hubby. I've got him well trained lol!

This is very tasty and quite crumbly. It's good with a ham sandwich hehe. I used a Tesco Ham with I'll post about next, the end result was this:

Sainsbury's Moroccan Topped Houmous

Hmmm this is mighty fine :-)

Now I'm a big fan of houmous at the best of times but this just rocks totally. Great on toast and tortillas.

Sadly due to moving house recently, we don't have a Sainsbury's close to us :-( So I don't get to see this much.

Tesco Pineapple High Juice

So first up is this one!

This one is very, very tasty and I love drinking it. Even as weak as I have it, you can still really taste the pineapple. If you like pineapples in any shape or form, I highly recommend this drink!

It's nice in fresh orange juice as well.

Artificial sweetener free diluting juice

I really like drinking diluting juice but find it difficult to pick up good ones that don't contain aspartame or acesulfame K. I tend to have my diluting juice very weak though, just a tiny amount in the bottom of the cup! I find that is strong enough for me hehe. So I'm hoping to post about which ones I find that are good and don't contain the sweeteners. I've found some, but it's limited!

I've been away for a while, I know I know! Life had go in the way! Anyway on with the show....

A while back, I used to hate these but recently they've grown on me for some reason!

And the size?

I really think these don't taste as well cold as they do cooked. I usually have them hot with beans, hmmm tasty! They take about 10 mins at gas mark 7.

Asda Almond Slices

These are very tasty but tiny! Two bites and they are gone. While everyone is eating some fancy cake, I'm usually eating these!

Tesco Free From Creme Caramel

This tastes very good!

It reminded me of the a Green's dessert that I got years back! Oh happy days :-)

Tesco Free From Creamy Sweet Chilli Spread

This is fairly tasty and has a slight chilli flavour. It's good on rolls and bread.

Swedish Glace Smooth Vanilla Ice cream

I got this in Tesco for about £2 and they also sell it in Asda for around the same price. Health food shops will charge the earth for it lol.

It's not really how I remember Ice Cream tasting, but it's not bad I guess. It is quite creamy and does melt nicely in the mouth.

I recently picked up an Ice Cream maker and have been experimenting with it. Tofu seems to work a treat!

Morrisons Sweet Popcorn

Now I'm a fan of popcorn but find it quite hard to get a lactose free one. Stumbled upon this in Morrisons a wee while ago and bingo! It's tasty but you need to watch out for the hard bits, protect your teeth at all times.

They also have a toffee one, which I prefer! I'll will try to get a photo the next time I'm in Morrisons. Currently off the sweets at the moment *sob*.

Morrisons Savers Extra Mature White Cheddar - safe cheese

Hooray I'm back on track and with an awesome cheese. Out of all the cheeses I've posted this one has to be my favourite :-) It's so tasty and hubby makes a mean mac cheese with it too!

It took me ages to look through all the cheeses in Morrisons as this was the only one I found! It's awesome, tasty, makes a good salad sandwich and it cheap. Yum yum :-)

Oh my I really need to get back into this blogging lark! Most of my time is spent here and here!

I've got a recent trip to the dietitian to share! And many food reviews.

I'll get there! Hehe.

Serious blog neglect

Yup sadly I've suffered from serious blog neglect!

Must try to post more often on here! Not that I've got any followers to worry about!
